Argh!!!! Who named it morning sickness??!!
Sorry this is just a bit of a vent really! I am 6weeks 5days pregnant and am suffering terrible all day sickness, I can barely keep anything down... surely a man named it morning sickness lol!!
I'm worried slightly as I can't keep much down and even drinking liquids makes me sick . People keep telling me that the sickness is a good sign, and while that may be I'm fed up of it now!!! I'm hoping it improves as I don't think I can go much more like this.
Did anyone else suffer terrible sickness like this, and is there anything i can do to help it? I've tried ginger as I've heard it helps but it didn't. I'm at my wits end!!

I know I was like this with one of my pregnancies. Not only did I have trouble keeping anything down....but smelling any kind of food made me want to vomit. which makes it tough when you have a family to feed.
I know I found that NSA apple sauce helped. I would only be able to eat a few bites at a time, but it stayed in my belly. Also, check with your doc. there are meds you can take if it's that severe that you can't keep anything at all down.
Good Luck!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
So sorry you are having to deal with the sickness...I was terrible sick the first trimester and still have episodes every now and then when something just doesn't stay down. I went through stages...one week only pb and J would stay down then I would eat cinnamon raisin toast...Just eat whatever sounds good to you...and defininetly talk to the doctor they have medicine that may help you (i didn't get relief from it but you might...) I did learn that the more water I drank the more food i was able to tolerate...

I had all day "morning sickness" and my doctor had to prescribe phenergan for me. I had horrible ms until 20 weeks.
Talk to your OB since you can not keep anything down they will prescribe phenergan or zolfram.
Best of luck to you and congratulations.

I am 7 weeks pregnant with twins and sick morning, noon, and night. I'm extremely fed up and have lost 10lbs in 1.5 weeks (I'm too thin and cant afford to loose anymore). Most of the time I cant keep anything down, not even liquids. Zofran will work only if I stick something in my mouth every 2 hrs. Once I start coughing/gagging then it starts the point of no return. I'm 2 years out from WLS and very happy with my results from the surgery but I wasn't this sick with my triplets. My doc keeps saying being sick means your still pregnant. (NO ****) I'm right there with you girl. The no sugar added pop sickles help me with the liquids and the SF ice tea from Arbys. Today is the 1st day I have been able to eat something and its the oven baked cinnamon roll bites. Full of sugar but it is the only thing that settles my gagging. Keep trying and you will figure what works for your tummy. At this point anything is better than nothing.

Whoever called it "morning sickness" must be the same man who invented high heels and leather corsets!!! No woman in her right mind would do such things!
I have to eat about every 2 hours. This week, one of the few things that is working is Spagetti-O's, of all things. Normally, I would gag at the thought of eating those, but they are staying down, and that's okay. All-day morning sickness bites, but it does mean that hormone levels are okay.
