Have a few questions! and a woohooo!
Hi Beth!!!! congrats on the weight loss, that is awesome! (Im still working on my last 5 and Quade is over 13 months now!)
I so understand that feeling after the baby. With Quade it wasnt so bad but when I had Megan (she is 8 now) I suffered terribly. I had soooo been looking forward to the new baby and when she came it was sooo hard. No one seemed excited about it anymore, no one coming to prepare , help and play, hubby worked swing so I was alone with a non sleeping, boob knawing baby, hehe. God love her, she was the most beautiful baby. She had curly red hair at birth, I could put in a pig tail from day 1! but it was hard, I cried every night for hours.
It passed and I love that little girl to death. It was so painful though. Just keep it in check and if you feel like its not passing talk to Dr, a little prozac never hurt :)
One of Quades nicknames is farty fart because he is a gas bag, always tooting. I used the drops, sometimes they help, sometimes they dont. When Quade was a bit older his gma and gpa started feeding him buttermilk. They told me that it is predigested and adds bacteria to his body, the good kind. I was pissed but gpa is a Dr of chemistry and told me all about how it would help and it did. Of course your little man is way to little but when he gets a little bigger, I bet Quade was 3 months when they started him on it. The Dr didnt argue. Quade is still a farter but he never cries from gas pain like he used to before the buttermilk.
I eat oatmeal every day (for almost 5 years now!) because I have IBS and it is a lifesaver!!!

I can't help with 1 or 2 but I can definitely tell you what works for me with constipation - I drink benefiber with one beverage per day (I usually just have it in my coffee or an evening glass of milk) and fiber one bars are great. I also buy whole grain high fiber tortillas (one fajita tortilla has 5g of fiber) for pizzas and quesadillas and wraps. Apples, pears and avocado are all good sources of fiber, as well as strawberries and some nuts. Kidney beans are excellent all around - fiber, nutrients, protein.
I usually eat 30-40g of fiber per day just because of the high fruit and veggie intake. Just make sure you drink enough or you'll make the problem worse, and don't increase your fiber too quickly - no more than 3-4g increase per day or you might not adapt well (gas, cramps, constipation...)
Good luck with all three and congrats on the impressive post-baby shrinking :)
