Monday Weigh In
WOW Liz that is awesome! I was worried when you posted you were on steroids because they really do make you gain weight.
I am at a stall. Last weeks weight was 181.2, this weeks weight 181.0. I walked just under 30 miles, just over 7 hours. In the last 3 weeks I have walked just under 90 miles and have lost 2 whole pounds.
Here are my excuses. I think in the last 3 weeks I have only had 3, maybe 4 BMs. If you look at my dailyplate you will see that I have ODed on Fiber just about every day. Yesterday morning I took laxatives for the first time in years (used to be addicted). Guess what????? STILL HAVEN'T GONE!! So basically ladies I am just full of ****literally.
I'm not weighing again until Thursday the 3rd. I will have 7 full days at amusements parks and 2 days of traveling and fully expect a huge loss when I weigh on that day. I'm depressed but 100% commited because I KNOW this is a temporary stall. There is no way I can't lose weight doing what I am doing.
I'm going to post all my Monday weigh ins on my blog and see if there is a pattern of stall. Last time I stalled this bad I did lose almost 8 pounds in one week.

Well, I was sitting pretty (not really) at 163-165 for quite a while, and although I am not happy about it I really wasn't happy when I stepped on the scale last Tuesday and it said 170!!! Two summers ago I was down to 145 (too thin) and then back up to 155. I would but super happy at 150. So, I did 3 days of the 5 day pouch test last week and lost 5 lbs. Yeah, too bad I hopped on the scale this morning and gained a pound of that back. I guess I will take a 4 pound loss but it still sucks. So, right now I am at 166lbs. I cannot wait until all of my varicose vein surgeries are over with because then it will be cool enough outside to start my winter hiking regimen. That is good exercise!

I picked an arbitrary goal of 140 (I've never been that low), but I think I would settle for a "normal" BMI, which would be about 145-146 pounds for me. So, I'm shooting for another 11-12 pound loss by the time my hubby returns in April.

I picked an arbitrary goal of 140 (I've never been that low), but I think I would settle for a "normal" BMI, which would be about 145-146 pounds for me. So, I'm shooting for another 11-12 pound loss by the time my hubby returns in April.

I should be happy but I'm not.
Weight last Monday was 243, today is 233 and I know alot of that was water weight. Not even my size 18 pants button, I'm so mad at myself for gaining so much this pregnancy, I knew I had to work hard to get it off last time, WHY THE HECK DID I DO IT AGAIN! I can't even fathom the thought that I have freaking 34 pounds to lose before I even get in the 190's again, this just plain sucks and makes my mood extremely miserable!

10 pounds is awesome and she isn't even 2 weeks old yet. Your body won't go back to normal for several weeks yet. If you limit your calories and do some walking when you are up to it the weight will drop off so fast. I think it took me just over 3 months to lose 34 and it was when I was only walking for 30 minutes a day. Funny now that I walk an hour it is coming off slower LOL.
I bet next week you have another good week and that will help your mindset.

Thanks Jennifer. I am trying to be positive and not resort to comfort eating. Usually when I don't like my weight I tend to eat ravenously even when not hungry. My goal today is a walk, even 10 minutes. I had baby duty last night so I am really cranky and tired, since she is sleeping I'm going to catch a nap. Thanks again for your encouragement!

Drew is 2 weeks old today and as I stated last week, any loss is good in my book. Last week I was 177 - this week - 171. I'll take 6lbs. We've been walking every night but I'm not going to lie - my food choices this week haven't been the greatest. I can definitely notice the difference in how much I could eat when I was pregnant and how much I can eat now. My portion size is definitely down - now if I could just put good for you foods in that portion, I would be all set. I need to get in some more water too. That is my goal this week.
