OT: Anyone who was successful at getting a toddler to sleep in own bed...

Thats a great idea, I was going to make her crib as big girl as I could, I am definitely not putting her in the toddler bed yet because we have to leave her door open for the air condition so she would just walk out and be free in the house (I dont think so!). I am also going to try Dawn's advice about the glow worm. Hope it works I will post in the morning!

All of my three of my kids went through this. We created a bedtime routine, they brush their teeth jammies and I read a book, then I dim the lights and I have a very soft bedtime lullabies from around the world CD we would play. Then I would sit quietly on the floor. I would start out right next to them and slowly move out of the room over time. I always told them that if they talked I would have to leave the room. The first night they did it with out me they got a sticker. If they collected 10 stickers they got to pick up a new sleep friend or new sheets.
