Humm... A thought....
Sorry I'm clogging up the board here but I am have just had a revelation.
I check my cervix like literally 20 times a day. I've also had a yeast infection that just went away. I had a tiny bit of blood again tonight and it was when I was checking my cervix. That's when it also happened last night. Could I just be irritating it? Could it be raw or irritated from the yeast infection paired with my constant checking (I am checking because I'm am a type A paranoid person and I wanted to keep making sure it was closed and high).
I forgot to mention in my ER post that the ultrasound showed no blood in the uterus.
Anyway just a thought... but it could be a possibility right?

Uh yeah. I totally didn't put two and two together until you just said that. Quit checking it. You're probably getting closer to your cervix than sex would. And it's possible that your yeast infection isn't gone completely and there's still swelling. Sooooo-
Step away from the cervix missy!
I understand the nervousness....but breathe.
Big hugs,
Angie

You could be irritating it for sure. Just be careful about checking too much - although I am sure you wash your hands first you don't want to cause infection.
To be honest with you even if something were wrong your cervix may not tell you. When I found out I was going to miscarry it took 4 weeks from the time my baby stopped developing, when my doc checked me 2 weeks prior to the miscarriage there was no cervical change to suggest a MC - it wasn't until I had the ultrasound.
I am in no way trying to scare you, I am totally excited for you!!! Just don't want you to torture your poor cervix! :) Trust me I am totally type A - I take like 30 pee tests everytime I get pregnant. I don't really chill out until I can feel the baby move. Just keep good thoughts!! I am sure all will be great over your next 9 months! Just ask Beth - she and I are the biggest worry warts ever! We have been there!

Ah That is why I was asking about the Dr. Visit...I didnt realize you were doing your own internal!! When they do an internal they ALWAYS tell you there could be spotting because all the extra blood flow to the area the vessels are VERY sensitve and can bleed a little after the exam...I understand the nervousness...but agree with the Previous poster...step away from the cervix...:) Blessings and waiting to hear big numbers tomorrow! :)
I would say YES- that is likely. Your brave and all- but keep those exams for the Dr. They tell you that you can bleed after intercourse because the cervix gains more blood flow and become easily irratated. My Dr even told me that light spotting would be normal after the interal u/s they do (also the STD testing, pap test, etc) Good invesigative work- now try to relax, and enjoy your pregnancy.
