It must be the hormones ...

Are any of you ladies having this problem....  I am normally such an easy going person.  I can let things go easily without grudge or even real anger.  But not any more... it is like the little devil is sitting on my shoulder and saying just say it Gina, just say it.  Mostly at work, with my one co-worker.  She is driving me crazy :(  I work with her all day ... and normally enjoy it.  I am normally able to ignore her antics ... she is super whinny and always is complaining about something.  But since being pregnant I am finding it hard to bite my tongue.  You can not share your opinion with her, because she is always right .... ahhh.

I don't think she is going to make it the whole nine months :P  I might have to take her out :)  How do you ladies deal with the hormonal mood change?  mostly without killing the people that you love :)

Thanks!
Gina

lol I was like this too! I ended up telling my aunt off and it felt SO good! I told everyone that my hormones went straight to my vocal cords! (Vodka does the same thing! lol)

Hope that you can bite your tongue when necessary!

Hummm- I thought it was just me.  I am usualy very open minded and easy going..but when I am pregnan****ch out.  I become opinioned and get VERY easily annoyed.  I dont really believe in yelling or raising your voice- it's just someting I have always hated.  If you hear me yell or raise my voice, or become completely hostile- I am pregnant.  It usually starts around the time I have progesterone supplements (6 weeks) or so...and well- it calms down as my hormone balance back out..but I notice it doesn't take much to "bring her out".  Let see- first pregnancy I picked up one of those little round tables (that have 3 legs) and smashed it in front of my older daughter because I was fed up with her behavior -she's a preteen...Um yeah- it was like the incrediable hulk mom (who happened to be like 35 weeks pregnant).  This time, I have started to swear.  I just try to explain- I get easily annoyed..and leave it at that..thank god it goes away when I am done being pregnant.  I can control it with strangers----I just think it verse releasing it which probably is why it can get so bad at home...THankfully- so far it's just potty mouth this pregnancy.  Good luck- and I find seperating myself from the idoits help.

Hi Gina--

Perhaps chew on gum or mints or something to otherwise busy your mouth so you can't say something you'll regret.

I say there is nothing wrong with daydreaming about taking your coworker out! Seriously, envision the newsclip they'd run afterward! I think aggravating a pregnant woman is a criminal offense.

Coworkers can be SOOOOOOOOO annoying. I had this one coworker who I shared a wall with (love those cubicle environments!) who would ALWAYS be on the phone with personal calls. Calls to her home answering machine and leave messages for her dog to hear, calls to schedule her bikini wax, calls to her best friend reminiscing about thier escapades, etc. The funnies thing was that this woman was EXTREMELY dense and just couldn't understand that EVERYONE could hear her conversations. Duh?!

Yeah, I wish you luck in not killing your coworker!

I had a girl I worked with like that while I was pregnant.  There were quite a few times where I just couldn't bite my tongue any longer.  She was the idiot of all idiots, had no common sense.  She caused me a lot of agony and re-work.  I gave her a piece of my mind a few times, just with little remarks.  She finally got the picture and stopped bugging me so much.  When I was out on maternity leave they laid her off because she caused sooooo many problems and always made mistakes.

Just blame it on your hormones, people should know better LOL
