update... babyshower... :)
So I cannot believe that we are finally getting there. This is so unreal despite feeling like crap constantly. My baby shower was saturday and it was huge! I was surprised by how many people came, I feel so loved! We got just about everything we needed and the nursery is packed and ready to go! I simply cannot believe that this is really going to work this time.
I have been feeling like crap (which I know is normal) and I can't remember the last time I actually slept. I am having these fun pains in my back and hips especially when I am laying on my sides trying to sleep. As happy as I am that this is all happening... I am so ready to be done. Get him out of there already! I want him to be healthy and all, but I am SO done being pregnant. I am pretty much on semi-bedrest. I'm allowed to go to work 3-10pm M-F, but that is it. Pretty much doing anything that would make me the least bit tired. I feel like such a wimp. I know it's worth it in the end, but I SO wi**** was September already!
I'll try some pics of the baby shower... they're on facebook so if you can't see them you can see them there.

Your looking great- for as tired and worn out as you feel. Pregnancy can be so much fun- I remember wanting to evict my daughter at 35 weeks or so..but then when I hit 38 I was taping the notice on the belly- I was so done. Once I had her, it was lonely. I mean I loved looking at her, and was simply amazed that she was inside of me...but I missed her hiccups and kicks (except for the bladder ones). I am glad you had a lovely showered and are prepared for baby Tristan. Keep baking that baby, and try to rest some.
Hi Victoria--
Dang it, now I want cake! (Yes, my cravings are visually triggered!) Thanks for sharing the photos from your shower. I think I'm the only person in existence NOT on Facebook....but I refuse to join. At some point I'll budge, but I'm not there yet.
I can COMPLETELY identify with your feelings of disbelief over the pregnancy and impending motherhood...I'm 28+3 and am in the exact same boat.
Looks like Tristan got some pretty cool gifts! What a lucky kid. Also, I like his full name--it sounds distinguished.
My hometown shower is this weekend...it's a small gathering and I'm very nervous about it due to the family stuff. I'm sure it'll be fine, but needless to say I will be ecstatic to be heading back to my own house come Sunday night.
