Such a silly question....

I'm a mother of 2.... a boy and a girl. For some reason, I feel clueless with a girl now. My daughter looks like a boy if she doesn't have pink or a dress on. I need you mothers of girls to help me...  I bought her some hair bows yesterday to make sure she looks like a girl... LOL.  What do you do to make your girl look all girlie girl and cutsie? How did you fix her hair? My daughter has a head full of hair, but its still somewhat short, but getting thick. What did you do with your daughters hair? Did you ever cut it or just let it grow on its own? She looks like a shaggy dog with hair going every which way... Poor thing has my hair and it has a mind of its own.

Any thoughts to make my girl look all cutsie??!   LOL

Libby still gets called a boy even when she has pink or purple on!!  I pierced her ears when she was 3 months old and that helped a little.  She also has the shaggy hair thing going on but I am at a lose as to what to do with it.  I don't want to cut it cause I want it to grow out so I can put it up, but its craziness!!

Oooh Malena!  I didn't think about the piercing ears thing. Great idea!!!  Do you have any pointers on getting that done? Kayleigh will be 10 months old next month. Where did you go to have it done? Did your daughter cry much?? Tylenol before to help with pain??

Libby cried long enough to get out the door!  Seriously, it wasn't that bad.  They did one at a time and they said just because the baby might move before one person gets theirs in and that could make them completely off.  She never bothered them at all, we just had to clean them twice a day for a few weeks.  We got hers done at Piercing Pagoda in the middle of the mall.  Some pedi's offer it so you could always check with yours.

I had my daughter's done at 10 months. I made sure 2 people did it at once and I put a Dum Dum sucker in her mouth while they did it to distract her.  She cried to all of 5 seconds.  HIGHLY recommend a sucker if you can...

I got Nylah's ears pierced as well and just like Libby people still call her a boy. She had NO hair when born so it's in the growing in stage. I also put her in dresses almost daily, they are so cute and easy!

Great Question! With my daughter, I started making  a little ponytail on top of her head with those small and clear elastics you can buy at the store. Sometimes she really looked like Pebbles, but it was cute. I did cut her bangs a few times until they started to grow in enough to actually be pulled back. Try the Pebbles ponytail- We still do that with her, even now!

Oh I bet that was cute. That reminds me of a picture my Mom has of me at my 1 year birthday party. I had a ponytail on the top of my head... I didn't think about me looking like Pebbles, but it did look like I had a dang helicopter on top of my head with a bow and all... LOL. Kayleigh's 1 year bday is coming, so maybe I could do that and then compare our pictures... hahaha.

My sister in law will just put a little barrette in my nieces hair to pull her bangs back a little bit. It's super cute and easy. She doesn't even know it's there. I also like the earring idea!
