3.5 months post op and pregnant. Any words of help!
Thank you. I am feeling much better this morning. I think its all the love and support I have been getting from you guys. And I thank everyone for not bashing me but instead telling me to look on the bright side of things. My question to you though is what did you have to do different, if anything, after you found out you were pregnant so early? Did you have to switch to a prenatal vit rather than a regular multi and did you have to up calcium or anything? I am also super concerned because I am quite anemic...believe my iron is like a 42 but my % saturated is only a 17. Is it going to get worse and can that harm my future baby? I am just so scared and worried I am going to have horrible complications. Thank you in advance for your answers and congrats on your lovely baby.

I got pregnant at 2 1/2 mo post op. Here is what I have to do:
Daily vits:
B12
D x2
C
Folic Acid
Prenatal
Iron
Calcium x2
80g Protein
40oz milk
Ultrasound every 5-6 weeks
See my OB every 2-3 weeks until 1 mo prior to due date then every wee****il delivery.
Talk to my NUT on a monthly basis.
It's a lot to keep track of but baby is healthy and currently 2 days ahead of schedule. I am still losing and I am almost 22 weeks. I have yet to gain a pound! Also I am not considered high risk. :-)
Everything will be fine! It just takes some extra effort to ensure you and baby are healthy.
Congratulations!
