Monday Weigh In

Well I will start the post today. I am so sad after stepping on that scale this morning. I know I just had my baby 5 days ago but I only lost 10 pounds...seems very minimal. So as my first weigh in it is 242. I hope next week is a hell of a lot better.

Sweetie, I was the same way. 1 week post delivery, I was 3 pounds less than pre-delivery. I know I was swollen, and all that gargage. But it was still hard to handle. Hang in there. it will come. Just begin tracking your foods and working on it. I am SLOWLY but surely getting there.

So...........my weigh in is down 2 lbs. Yay! I was nervous. I have 8 pounds left to get to my goal! It's still going to be a struggle. These last pounds are glued to me. But I am determined to get them off. Even if it takes me months and months, just for those few.

YEAH!! I am so happy for you to have a 2 pounds loss. What are your plans this week? Are you going to keep up with what you are doing or switch it up a bit? I think I am going to cut back on the artificial sweetener and see if that doesn't help me. I'm trying so hard not to be sad but it sucks that I don't lose consistantly with the exercise I am doing.

I am adding in more veggies this week. But still avoiding all breads and pastas. Also going to try and leaner meats. Last week was more ground beef than I'd like. So I plan to stick to chicken, fish and turkey as much as possible to help with fat content.

I hope you have a great week. A loss next monday would be the perfect "mind set" for your disney trip.

That is a great idea. I don't eat ground beef anymore simply because you can get more for your calories using ground turkey. I'm eating a lot of vegetables now that they are in season. It would probably help more if I didn't have to salt everything!

I keep toying with myself about the exercise. Part of me wants to go back to 45 minutes instead of an hour but then if I feel like it do another 45 at night. Or doing 45 a day but then on Saturday and Sunday doing a longer walk. It is getting harder and harder to exercise when I am not seeing results. 151 walks, almost 400 miles total. Even though I am down 59 pounds, I have not had losses consistant to my exercise. I SHOULD be averaging 2 pounds a week at the least.

OK, I'm moving on. I'm going to stop trying to figure out why I'm losing so slowly and just keep plugging along...

Was your second week weigh in any better than the first? I am trying to be positive and enjoy the great things in my life, I shouldn't have weighed this morning, I just knew it!

I'm sorry your weigh in wasn't what you wanted. I am sure next Monday the weight will really start to come off fast.
Last week I was 183 on the nose and this week 181.2. Not quite 2 pounds. I must admit to being frustrated and disappointed. I did great all week but yesterday went out to dinner for a reunion. I only ate one piece of square pizza but I ate about 2 cups of a very oily, meat and cheese filled salad. I counted the calories and stayed under 1400 for the day but the food really filled me up and made me feel bloated.

In the last 3 weeks I have only lost 1.8 pounds. The saddest part of that is that I have walked over 20 hours in the last 3 weeks. It really sucks to work this hard for not even a 2 full pound result. I BETTER have a good weigh in next Monday. I leave for Disney the next day and my plan is to stick with the plan while in Disney but if I have a crap weigh in I am afraid that I will thrown in the towel.

Your doing great, your about to hit the 170's a great accomplishment! So keep up the good work, I am trying to remember that I probably am still retaining water and such but I feel like a house and excuse the language my ASS is freaking HUGE! Well DH said he supports me in anyway and he don't care if I lose another pound and while I sincerely appreciate that I am still depressed. But in any case I am purchasing the $1000 elliptical machine I been wanting for MANY months, I know it seems steep to me too but I need a machine to do my exercise (just my preference). I am tracking all week, so we will see what next Monday brings.

I weighed 158.4 this morning.  That is down 1.8 pounds from last week.  I have been trying to stick with it, but the last couple of days haven't been the greatest.  I have gotten into eating in the middle of the night again if my sleep is disrupted for any reason.  I am still shooting for 140, but it may take awhile.  I guess that's okay.

Hey we both lost 1.8!! How funny that we both had the same number.

Are you going to be able to see your husband while he is back in the states?
