I can fall alsleep with no proplem, it's staying asleep. I wake up EVERY hour on the hour. And it's really catching up to me. Im normally a great sleeper I have never had a proplem. My doc gave me ambian but it dosn't really help, because like I said falling alseep isn't the proplem it's staying that way......Anyone else having this proplem?? And is there anything I can do?!!?

Ugh...I am so sorry....have you tried Ambien CR so it keeps you asleep? Also, I did Tylenol PM about the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy....it helped a lot....

I hate feeling so tired...I am feeling that today big time and took a 2 hour nap while Nathan took a nap....I could have slept more...ugh....

Hugs and here is wishing you lots of GOOD zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's

I have this problem.  I can fall asleep no problem, but I can't stay asleep.  I think I'm averaging 3 hours of sleep a night total.  And then after a few days I crash hard and sleep for like 10 hours, but always after I have an emotional outburst/cry and then collapse from exhaustion.

i haven't found anything that helps yet.  Let me know if you find something that works.

Tylanol makes something called Simply sleep, it's worked for me before! Hope you are able to get some sleep soon!

I'm not pregnant and have this problem. I haven't tried the ambied CR but have heard great things about it - I was on ambien for a bit but like you I don't have trouble falling asleep - just staying there. I wake at least every 1 1/2 or so then go back to sleep at some point. The only time that I DID sleep well was when I was pregnant (before the miscarriage) and then I had to get up every 2 hours or so to pee! lol couldn't win!

I still have the problem myself. I was on lunesta when I got pregnant but stopped as soon as I knew I was pregnant. Doctor offered me Ambien last time and I will probably get it Tuesday for my next appointment. I am going nuts. I use relaxation cd's and pillow spray with lavender and vanilla or a lavender and camomille. I have had insomnia for about 3 years now really bad and have been on meds the whole time. I thought after surgery my surgeon said not to take anything with CR but I dont know. Have not tried since surgery but something about our tummy not being able to control the release like normal. Dont depend on me for that though I have not slept much for months. :)

Off topic...I'm curious how you came to have the photo you have as your avatar.  It's a photo that a good friend (and professional photographer) took of my newborn son's feet resting in the palm of my hand (and it's my current avatar).  I'm not angry…it’s a compliment to my friends skills and my son’s adorable feet.
