Pregnancy Brain Strikes

So today we had my kids' birthday parties at Fun Run. It is this cool place that is full of moon bounces and a imagination village. I walk in to sign them in and pay, I set my purse and keys on the counter, then I go to a table and sit down. Only to realize I do not have my keys, I go back to the counter and they are gone. I think maybe I locked them in my van. My hubby brings the spare (that only unlocks but does will not start the van). My keys are no where in the van or outside the van. We begin searching the Fun Run, my husband climbs all through the bounces we look through the village, we looked for 2 hours while the kids play no keys. We finally gave up and had to have the van towed to a dealership. Thankfully the tow is covered by insurance. The key is $80.00, though. Every time, I get pregnant I lose my keys. I can not believe it is already starting and I am just 6 weeks.  The only thing I can figure out is that someone accidently walked off with them.  Ugh!

Oh man...I am soooooooooooo sorry....ugh....did you let Fun Run know to call you if they were found....how frustrating...I hope they come up found really soon....that $80 key sucks to pay for...I have had to do that......

Well life just got put in perspective. My girlfriend was in Walmart and her 3 year old wander off. They had to do a code ADAM and found him clear on the other side of  the store. Thank goodness for miracles. Losing the keys is not so bad.

It's always funny, when it isn't happening to me.  Unfortunately, I have preggo brain even when I'm not pregnant.  Glad you survived the situation without too much collateral damage LOL

I hope your key gets turned in and they call you.    I called my Dad early Tuesday morning to wish him happy b-day.  He didn't say anything right away, then ask is today my b-day.  It wasn't!   His b-day was Wednesday, which of course I almost forgot to wish him a happy b-day on his true b-day.   I'm telling you Velcro shoes are gonna be my friend after this baby...I'm not going to be able to tie my own shoes!
