Cooper's 2 month Appointment (pic heavy)
Well....my little man is almost 2 months old (on Sunday).
He had his 2 month "well visit" and first round of vaccines today. Thanks to all those who gave advice about tylenol beforehand - he took a dose about 45 minutes before the visit.
Here is how it went :
First, they weighed him and measured him. Cooper weighs 14lbs and that puts him in the 90th percentile for weight (He was 75th percentile for length).
Next, The doctor came in to visit. Cooper didn't mind seeing the doctor.
When the doctor left he told Cooper to stay in his diaper because the nurse would be in with the shot. This is what Cooper thought of that !!
Then Cooper got a shot and had to drink a "juice" drink. Mommy couldn't take pictures of that because she was too busy being worried about the shot. Cooper cried (okay screamed) for a minute or two....but calmed down when he got his "suckie" and a pretty band-aid (See band-aid on his fat thigh).
All is well -- Cooper is smiling and coo-ing and can hold his head up enough to satisfy the doctor when on his tummy. His heart/lungs sound great, his muscle tone is wonderful....
We go back in a month for another shot.... (we are spreading them out - no more than one at a time!)
Thanks again for all your help while pregnant and these last couple of months!

Seriously Cindy, save all the posts and pictures so you can compile them into a book. You have a not-so-hidden talent for writing and subtle humor that could really entertain the masses!
I'm glad Cooper did well at his checkup. The shots are always hardest on the parents. He's growing beautifully, both a result of nutrition and much love. Thanks for sharing!
