Savannah Birth Story.

So as most know I wanted an epidural this time around, well that didn't happen.

Rewind: Went to my appt. Tuesday when I posted I was 4 cm. After that it was a whirlwind, contractions started mildly a few hours after that appt. then around 7pm where 3 minutes apart lasting 1 minute each. I thought I would stay home for a bit because I wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke *** hello you were 4cm, no flukes here) LOL well I headed for the hospital but decided to turn around and go back home. So then around 10pm it started to get worse, contractions were such that I couldn't talk, then I knew it was time. Went to drop Ny off at my moms (again) and by then I was in lots of pain. Got to the hospital at 10:45p was begging them to call anesthesia from the minute I walked in, but they said I had to get an IV with at least one bag of fluid before they could call them. Once they told me that I knew I wouldn't get one. So I took the advice from Beth and started counting down from 30, it actually worked and kept me calm. I knew what to expect and I knew that the contractions would get far worse before push time. Well they started hard and fast and I was actually lightly pushing with them hoping to stretch a bit before hand so I didn't require 70 stitches this time. Well when I was "actually" told to pu**** was twice and she was born at 12:30am. Only 10 stitches this time and I'm not too swollen. I am thankful it went well and it was actually all ok this time. Thank you all for your support especially during my ***** sessions about wanting it to be done. Now it is and life is freaking grand. I will post some pics in my profile, sorry still don't know how to in the post. You ladies are great, and a BIG, HUGE thank you Laurie for posting for me

Congrats!

Sorry about the drugs....they told me I had to have a bag of fluid too , but then gave me the epidural without even an eighth of that bag dripping in!

Glad it went well despite that and the tearing wasn't as bad.

Welcome to the world, Savannah!!
