Question about Due Date?

When I enter the date I ovulated it says I'm 4 weeks, when I enter my LMP I'm 6 weeks.  I know you're supposed to count from you LMP but I ovulate 3 weeks after my period.  So what's right?  I guess my Dr. will tell me, but just wanna know your thoughts?

You should enter the date of your LMP and then how many days your cycle is. How long is your cycle normally?

39 days.  That would make me 6 weeks tomorrow if I counted from my LMP.  It feels weird saying I'm 6 weeks when I know the day (give or take a day) I conceived lol.

I totally understand what you mean! I was confused at first too. Now I know that we are actually only pregnant for 38 weeks not 40 because they count from your lmp not the actual date you conceived. I had no idea that was how they calculated it until I actually became pregnant. No one ever told me that.

Mine were all off! I had my due date as Dec 7 or 8, but after ultrasounds I'm at Dec 21. (I still think she'll come a little earlier!)

Yep-Go by whatever date your DR tells you is your Due Date.  Some go by LMP, some ask the length of cycle, some use u/s for dating and due dates.  Mine uses LMP and judges it agains u/s.  My daughter was due 7/11/08, my water broke 7/11/0.  So even though my cycles are usual 30-32 days LMP worked out okay.  Good luck with it all, pregnancy can be so exciting and frustrating- I did lots of reading and asking my first time.

With Hannah I ovulated on day 18.  For whatever reason the Dr.s didn't seem to care that I knew when.   They went by my LMP which made me about 4 days more pregnant that I actually was.
They will also be able to determine the due date by ultrasound.

For a rough estimate, start with the first day of your last period. Go back 3 months, and add a week. So if your last period was June 25th 3 months earlier is March 25th, plus 1 week is April 1st (no joke!)
