Sorry to drop this on all of you...
Oh Robyn, we all understand. I've been there, I lost my mom to abdominal cancer last year and it was such a tough road for everyone. Especially the stage where we were waiting to find out that second round of tests to determine what level cancer she had. As I said on FB, You ARE strong enough and you will get through this (I know it doesn't seem like it, but you will). Each step of the way, your strength will be there when you need it the most and when it seems like it is all gone. Your faith will keep you strong so you can lead your Mom through this. If you need anything, let me know. I've been there and I hope that there are more answers for your mom than there were for mine. You'll be in my thoughts.

Robyn, feel free to PM me if you have any questions as you learn more about her diagnosis (I work for the American Cancer Society as a cancer information specialist). Breast cancer metastatic to the bone often has a lot more treatment options than other types of cancer metastatic to the bone (depending on her type of breast cancer).
