Oy vey, I am MISERABLE...I am 16 weeks...and started PUKING.  I have been nauseaous for 15 weeks and now at 16 I have started to puke....I have a SCREAMING headache over my right eye...had to call off work this morning....my boss sounded pissy about it....worrying about the work piling up, lay-offs and still feeling like **** here.

I just want to cry or die or something, I can not take feeling like this until I give birth....not to mention the pain in my belly is STILL there and there is nothing they can do...it is adhesions.  Great....so now I puke, cry, ab screams in pain...puke...repeat.

I am sorry, but I just had to whine to people who might be able to understand....please don't berate me, I can't take it today...oh no, I feel like i have to puke again........

Edited to add:  I am down ANOTHER 2 pounds...that is 12 pounds since I got pregnant...please reassume me that my baby is still growning....and will be fine.

I feel bad for you.  Hope it gets better soon.  I had adhesions...they were awful (needed surgery to correct them when I was only a month out).  I found my first pregnancy I got the pukes mid way and at the end.  I think my grouchy pouchy didnt like being pushed on.  Small meals, small amounts of fluids- I found for whatever reason, Gas X stips helped me A LOT ( and I wasnt feeling gassy- like I had really bad stomach pains).  I hope you get past this soon.  Keep eating, and drinking- if it gets worse keep your Drs informed.

I feel sooo bad for you. There is nothing the Dr's can do to help you? Are you taking Zofran for the nausea? That might help. I take that. I hope you get feeling better soon!!!

Call your OB and get some Zofran if you aren't already taking it.    I hope you feel better soon!
The baby is growing fine!  He/she will take what it needs from you!

It sounds to me like you may have gone over to the dehydration side. Have your doc run a urine and rehydrate you. It take a few hours but OMG will you feel better. Then , stay hydrated and get some meds. The baby will be fine. I lost 35 lbs w/ my oldest(pre WLS) and he weighed 10 lbs 8 oz.

Hugs,
Angie

BTW- Mine always went on like that, peaked then stopped at around 17 weeks.

I am sorry you feel so bad. Try and take it as a sign that everything is fine with the baby. If you can handle the sugar , try Popsicles and hard lemon drop drop candy. It worked for me. I know they say no caffeine, but my doctor would tell me to sip a can of coke. Something in the cola syrup soothes the stomach. Of course this was all pre-WLS. Maybe you could make Popsicles out of crystal light. Good Luck. I lost 16 pounds with my first and I did not gain with my other two.

Oh sweetie, I feel for you! As Amy said, ask your Dr about Zofran if the vomiting continues. Also, be sure to up your B1 (adding a B complex vitamin works too) and have your Thiamin level checked with your next labs. Vomiting depletes your stores of B1 and low levels can actually CAUSE abdominal pain.

I had severe pain and HG with my last PG and the amount of crying alone I did could have caused dehydration. I second Angie's suggestion to have your urine concentration checked. Dehydration sucks and is very hard to correct on your own when you're constantly sick!

Hugs and understanding,

Jo
