Yesterday and today I get occasional bouts of vaginal spasms.  They kind of feel like ****** spasms without all the pleasure, they just feel weird.  Anyone else experianced this?  Is it normal at 17 weeks?

vagina or uterus?? I had a bout of about 20 minutes last week where I was scared ****less because I thought the baby was having seizures inside of me. I am 26 weeks so can feel baby, where you might not feel it yet. But, did research and found that it was most likely uterine spasms, related to braxton hicks. Kind of like when your eye twitches uncontrollably. The websites I read suggest taking it easy and drinking lots of water to help alleviate the braxton hicks. Hope this helps. Shari

No it is most definately vaginal....I can feel my uterus and the baby very well these days.  I feel her at least once a day if not a LOT like yesterday.  She's more calm today but we stayed up too late singing karaoke last night so she might be tired from that.

Shari - I got those with Kellen!  I so forgot to mention that in my other post.  MAN, I thought Kellen was having seizures too!  Scary business being pregnant!!  LOL!

I got them a couple months after my daughter was born. My doctor just kinda laughed and said it was hormone related.

I had the same thing and it freaked me out because I thought something was wrong.  I asked my doctor and she said it was from increased blood flow to the area.  You explanation is perfect, kind of like a pulsing in the pelvic floor/vag area.  I had it right about 18-20 weeks, it went away after a few weeks.
