I would highly suggest you see an RE... they will be able to give you assistance.
1. Cost of IUI all depends on the clinic and doc...also does your insurance cover it?
2. ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor, when did you start using it? How many cycles? Have you reached the peak?? Do you temp? You may want to try www.fertilityfriend.com this is a great site with tons of info as well.

I would agree about what the previous poster stated that you need to go see an RE. My insurance would pay for diagnosis but not fertility treatment. So, I was able to go to the RE and the insurance covered it and all the testing to find out if anything was wrong. After both of us were tested, the doctor said nothing was wrong with either of us.
Due to my age, we needed to get started on baby making. So, we did three IUI's earlier this year and got pregnant on my third IUI but miscarried. We are on our fourth round of IUI (first one since the miscarriage) The cost for IUI at my clinic and medications:
- Global fee $825 (includes all ultrasounds and doctor fees entire IUI cycle and first blood test)
- IUI Sperm Prep $295 (my insurance doesn't cover)
- Clomid $29 (my insurance doesn't cover)
- Injectibles $600 (my insurance doesn't cover)
- Prometrium $20 (Insurance covers)
Hello,
Woman who have tubals still ovulate normally, the egg just can't pass through the fallopian tubes because the doctor has cut, tied, burned, scarred, etc... the tube. The egg gets reabsorbed into the body. So even though you are O'ing your egg may not be making it through the reopened tubes. I think you should talk to your doctor about having a hysterosalpingogram to see if your fallopian tubes are opened completely and no scarring has reoccurred. I would consult your doctor about testing before you attempt to have any IUI's done. No sense in sticking the sperm directly where they need to be if the egg hit a road block and can't meet them.
