Just found out
I'm pregnant, at 7 1/2 months post op. We were told that we'd never conceive naturally because my husband has practically zero sperm. Well, guess they were wrong. My OB said she isn't worried and baby and I will be fine. But I'm still a bit nervous. Can you all tell me what you've had to change/do differently for your pregnancies?
I have two older sons, 9 1/2 and 2 1/2.

Congrats! I got pregnant with TWINS while my hubby was supposedly infertile also. We were NOT trying. LOL.
Just add about 200-300 calories a day...keep up your fluids and vitamins...and take it easy! My first pregnancy was 4 months post-op and I didn't have to do anything much different...however I wasn't losing anymore.
Good luck and congrats!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Your boys will be very excited to have a younger sibling, no doubt.
As the pp's mentioned, add carbs immediately. Complex carbs are best, though with morning sickness, sometimes the simple carbs are all that works (i.e. saltines). Try to add more water every day. Add folic acid AND a prenatal vitamin (replaces the multi-vitamin you already take). Contact your surgeon's office and meet with the nutritionist to develop a specific program that meets yours and your baby's nutritional needs.
Try to relax and enjoy each moment. Your baby will get everything it needs from you or your stores, so having your labs checked frequently is essential to ensuring YOUR health. Levels can fluctuate quickly throughout the pregnancy. These results will determine what, if any, changes to supplementation you need to make.
Wishing you all the best and I look forward to sharing in your journey!
Hugs,
