Advice on prenatals
My first appt is in 2 weeks. I went off my bariatric vitamin about 2 months ago. I would have stayed on but there was too much of the bad kind of Vitamin A (acetate). Now I'm taking 1 prenatal, as per the bottle instructions, 2 calcium supps. and B-12 injections once a month. I feel like I should be taking more than 1 prenatal. What are you guys taking? Thanks!

hey! I was taking 4 multivites a day. I was on optisource and that was the reccomendation per day. Maybe i'll take 1 and a half. I just feel like going from 4 daily to 1 is not enough. Thanks Liz!

Alot of what you take has to do w/ which surgery you had & how much you're absorbing. I just found out I am pregnant & I have always had to take a lot. I would definitely recommend speaking to a nutritionist instead of just your ob or family doctor. It is pretty rare for physicians to have a complete understanding of nutrition particularly with how our bodies work now! This is what I am taking in addition to a monthly B12 Shot............

be careful trusting the labs. where is the vitamin guru. she knows how that stuff works. something about it is weird.
