Baby Monitor Question

I have a Graco iMonitor Digital monitor that is designed for 2 rooms. It has 2 baby units and 2 parent units.  You can "program" the parent unit to flip between rooms at intervals between 15 seconds and 2 minutes.  For the new baby, you could have the monitor listen to that room for 2 mins then flip to the twins for say 30 seconds.  It is an AWESOME monitor.  I got it not quite 2 years ago, so I don't know if they still make it but it is a great monitor. When I bought it I think I paid around 140.00.  Hope that helps :)

Honestly, I used the monitor in my 3 & 6yrs old room until the baby was born.  It was helpful in knowing if they woke up in the middle of the night or too early in the morning, or at bedtime, if they were goofing off too much.

As for a right time vs wrong time, its all up to your comfort level.  I don't remember the exact wording but something about the route to the best sleeping baby was to put them in the room farthest from the parents.  The few occasions I've forgotten to turn on the receiver...my "instict" kicked in when he was wailing and it was barely audible (most often this happens when I'm in the shower.)

I am not alone, neither are you.
