In-Law Update
Thanks for the words of encouragement after my post yesterday. (Background: I had told the in-laws about our upcoming c-section and they seemed all flustered.) You ladies made some good points and I, too, have taken some time to process the information.
My MIL and I were on talking today and I basically spoke my mind, very politely about our c-section decision. I talked about how my OB will be using the same "smiley" incision I already have, etc. I told my MIL not to worry about things and that I was in good hands, etc. She seemed much better today than when we told them yesterday. Perhaps she just needed some time to absorb the info.
Anyhow, all is well and thanks for your responses to yesterday's post.
