Hi everyone. This is my 2nd pregnancy since my GB &TT. My steady weight has been around 173 lbs. I didn't gain any weight with my last baby. But I'm only 2 1/2 months with this baby and I'm already 194 lbs. I'm beginning to look like me b4 GB. And its scarry as hell. My belly is still flat but my butt, hips, arms, face and legs have spread. Is there anything that I can do while I'm preggo to ensure that I lose it all back? And if I've gained that much already how big will I be at time of delivery?

You seem *sad* but CONGRATS!  Have you been eating like crazy?  20 lbs in 2.5 months is more than they want you to gain, so I'd up your fluid intake and protein.  AND talk to your OB.

Good luck and CONGRATS!!!!

Congrats. I say if you are worried talk to your doc. Any possability of gestational diabetes? I know gals that get the okay from their docs to be on a diabetic type diet and exercise program even if not diabetic. It is mainly just balancing your carbs and proteins and making sure to walk, walk, walk. Good luck and you will be fine.

Oh, and I gained 70 with my first...this time only 2.5 at 26 weeks. Wierd how each pg is different. But just think how you are gaining a beautiful child out of this...and with diligence you will be back to your pre pg weight. Shari

I don't know about you but I snack all day every day! I litterally do, no joke! If you do this too you're best bet is to plan for snacking all day so that you snack on good stuff all day. Planning ahead & having healthy stuff available & convenient helps me a lot.  I make a veggie tray on Sunday's to munch on all week long. Also, check out edamame. It's yummy & it's a great source of protein! I also make a big batch of soup. I make a different kind each week so that I dont' get bored. That way I always have something healthy to eat when I'm in a hurry. This might not be the issue like some of the other ladies suggested I would definitely check for diabetes. Good Luck & Congrats!!!!!
