Need your $0.02 Please....
OK, so for about 4 freaking weeks I have had this ab pain....on my left side only...to the left of my belly button (to give you a better idea of location). It comes and goes, but has gotten to be around more often than not.
I went to my PCP, had to see a different doc than my regular guy, he was a twit...sent me for an ultrasound....it came back clear...but the more I think about it, I don't remember her "wanding" around my belly button area.
Then last week at the OB appt I brought it up....the doc was like he didn't have time...pushed on it and until I asked for mercy and said...eh, probably adhesions. Wow...ok thanks asshat!
So I bought a binder...doesn't help. Bought a belly support thing, doesn't help. On friday night it hurt so bad I thought about going to the Er, but once I lay down and "support" it, it feels ok. Not better, but ok.
I feel like it could be a hernia or something b/c when I pick something up (12 pack of soda or something) it feels like my guts could fall out.
What do you think??? I am debating calling my PCP again, cause he knows me and the surgery, etc and is WAY more attentive....but I am not sure it would matter cause what can they do for me....nothing, I am going on 16 weeks....so should I call, spend the co-pay to be told I have to suffer or not call and suffer????
What do you think ladies???? Thanks!!!

You know your body better than anyone! I have heard (and experienced) a lot of times doctors just assume things and blow you off. You have to demand an answer and a correct one at that not just some BS to tide you over so they don't have to work. It could be something major and that would be horrible. Sometimes doctors can be so lazy!! Good luck!

Well, I called my PCP and made an appt...I go Wednesday. After talking to the nurse, she said if the pain gets worse to go to the ER, and not mess around. I told her how unhappy I was with the OB last week....so we wait.
