I know most of y'all are prob sleep
But as of 8-9-09 I turned 27 weeks
for the pass few days I have had some cramping comes and goes
right now its almost 2:00 a.m. and im unable to sleep, the cramps dont seem to let up
and im debating should I go to the Doctor or not, my BF wants to wake my other kids up
so we all can go but they have camp in the morning and I dont want to drag them to the Hospital this late, im thinking about waiting till morning, Im just nerves and didnt think this would be happening at 27 weeks altho I was told it was possible.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank You

Meleney

Call your doctor and speak with whoever is on call and see what they suggest you do. The doctor should have a better idea if it's something urgent that you need to go in now for or wait until morning. Good luck.

I agree w/the poster who suggested calling the dr.  I hope it's just an extreme case of braxton hicks contractions and eases up for you.  Don't know what can be done to ease them up if that's what it is.  Has you BF tried rubbing your back or stomach for you?  Have you tried changing positions?  Hot shower?

Hi Meleny,
I always think its better to talk to the dr on call and see what they say. Since they cant really give medical advice over the phone, they will most likely tell you to go to the hospital, so be ready for that. At 27 weeks though, its way too early to risk pre-term labor. While you are waiting for a return call from the dr, I think a warm bath is a great idea. Let us know what happenns! :)

No advice but wanted to see how you are doing this morning and what the verdict was? Hope all is well and now you are the one sleeping :)
