Are you avoiding sf stuff during your pg?
I have decided to forgo the SF stuff for the most part. I have had one or 2 things with purevia in them but overall I am concerned with how little is known about the way these things act in your body and I know you are not supposed to give them to children so I figure why risk it. But like someone else said it is a comfort level thing. Some people are uncomfortable with any alcohol during pregnancy whereas I am ok with an occasional glass of wine or little beer as long as I drink it very slowly and never more then one. It all comes down to what research you trust and what you are comfortable with.
I don't generally dump on sugar itself. Like I can eat hard candy all day long without a problem. It's heavy carbs like cake and cookies that get me. So I can usually do about a whole tall glass of OJ without issues. As for the sprite, I do let it sit and flatten a bit before I add it the cranberry juice. And the juice takes some of the carbonation out too. Finally regular sprite is actually less caronated than the diet stuff. Most sodas are that way for some reason. I'd try the OJ and see how it does. I also enjoy V8 splashes and drink quite a bit of those. I just get the regular and not the light versions. Peach Mango is my fav.
