Drew's gonna need that weight to play football, Mama! Niko would'nt move his hands from his face...hehe. He still puts it up there when he's sleeping. Keep relaxing. It sounds like he's gonna be here before you know it. The cervix can dialate at a feverish pace...so be prepared.

Hugs,
Angie

Haha that's what Daddy said - he said "my linebacker is beefin up already!"
You also said one of the things that the midwife said. She said normally when they're late like this and the cervix isn't dilating that it ends up dilating REAL fast and that hopefully I will have a fast labor as well. Oye the waiting game stinks!

OH Shauna!  I've been thinking of you.    It sounds like Drew is getting ready. :)   I think it's perfect that your doctor is waiting for Drew.   I know it's hard on you .. poor thing.. but I think in the end  it will be for the best.  :)  Take care!

Yeah the doctors in this practice don't like to induce unless completely necessary - which I love because I really want him to come when he's ready. But according to the US tech - he should be very ready. He's just being a typical lil man - stubborn. I mean why come out when he's warm, comfy and being fed inside, without everyone mauling him - hahaha!

Thanks for thinking of me though!!

Ouch 9,9 sounds like it wouldn't been painful - thank god for C-Sections sometimes.

A BPP is a Biophysical Profile. It tests his lung maturity, his breathing patterns, heart rate, amniotic fluid levels and mobility (which is what he failed on, all he had to do was unbend a finger, haha!) It's done through an ultrasound. Nothing exciting. Well, ok, I lie, it was exciting because I haven't had an ultrasound in a long time where I actually saw anything and looking at his face was like looking at him now that he's mature. So that was pretty great.

I'm happy to hear all is well - besides Drew's fist.  Why do they need to see him unclench his fist?  Is that indicative of something?

Hope he cooperates today!

You've got a nice chubby baby in there!  More baby to love!

Congrats and can't wait to "meet" Drew when he's born!

Thanks Cindy. I'm not really sure if it indicates anything particular but the moving of the fist shows mobility in the hands - they can also do it on the feet, however there was no way she was able to get a shot of his feet.

I'm hoping he cooperates today too by being born! :-)
