Pregnancy After WLS & PS
I am WLS Post-op since 2003 and PS post-op since 2006. I am currently 26wks pregnant and still having issues w/the weight gain of pregnancy and the 'stretching' of the tightened stomach after my PS.
Has anyone been thru the whole process and then gave birth to go back to looking 'normal' as you did after the PS?
I never thought Id be pregnant or the PS could have waited!
I had just started feeling 'normal' with my mirror appearance when I found out the miracle of life had happened!
Thanks in Advance!

I had WLS Sept 03, TT March 06. My first daughter in April 08 and after she was born I was looking like she was never there, it was very flat still and tight. During both my pregnancies I got wide instead a big belly so I didn't look as far along as I was. I am 40 weeks tomorrow and have hope after this one it will be flat again. Doctor even commented "where did you keep her?" I even gained 70 pounds and lost it in 7 months. I am back up 70 again and have all the faith I will lose it.
Thank You for your reply! I am terrified bout the weight gain and effects on the already stretched and retightened skin! Ive kept my weight gain to a minimal @ 26wks so far. She (the baby) is actually above average in weight & length for my gestation period so far...so I guess Im doing good. Everyone looks at me like Im crazy when I tell them im pregnant and then even crazier when I tell them how far along....cause Im barely showing! BUT at times im so swollen I look like im going to burst!! LOL
Again, TY for the info and good luck w/your upcoming newborn!!
