Progesterone creams

Hi everyone,

I plan to ask my OB-GYN about it when I make an appt (soon) but I was wondering have any of you used the OTC progesterone creams to lengthen your luteal phase? Did you have any success?

I seem to verge into the short luteal phase category some months (spotting today 9dpo, sure AF will start tonight or tomorrow) - and I have a more variable LP than what seems to be common (10-13d)

I know that Shari used the OTC creams. She had recommended them to me when I first started out TTC becuase I have a short LP. 

My OB & RE believe the short LP stuff is rediculous. But, the only time that I had the normal LP was when I was on the progesterone vaginal suppository during my fertility treatments!

Interesting stuff Traci, thanks! I'm not sure what I think, but I do have some of the supposed "signs" of estrogen dominance so if my doc says "it can't hurt" I may try it. I'll be interested to see what he says when he looks at my charts.
