I am falling off the wagon big time

Okay, so I'm not sure if its the stress from work or my TTC anxiety, but I am back to what I believe to be a pre-surgery appetite.  I want to eat all the time.  I was doing little snacks at first but somehow those 100 cal. packs just weren't enough.  So although I am out 3 years and a month, I am gaining weight.  It started really slow and to be honest with each 2 or 3 lbs I was hoping it was me being pregnant and gaining so I was kind of excited.  My lowest weight after surgery has been 188 and I am now hitting the scale at 206.  This last 8 lbs seem to have happened overnight.  I haven't been gaining for 3 years so I am very scared now that I'm hitting this turning point and I don't feel in control....Is this a phase I'm going through?  Is it possible that my hormones and clomid could cause weight gain?

I've started chewing my tongue which they say is related to stress. (have I said my job is so stressful?)    How am I going to have a baby when all the dr. keeps saying is to relax and I'm stressed and I surely don't want to give up the great accomplishment my RNY has helped me attain.   SIGH!!!!!

Answers to all the FAQ's (I should be answering my own post after this one)
1.  Exercise has slowed down to my toning exercises every other day
2.  I am eating three meals a day with mostly protein
3.  I snack 2/3 times a day (peanuts, pretzels, peanut butter crackers, 3-4 twizzlers)
4.  I drink at least 1 decaf can soda a day.

These snacks have been pretty much the same kinds since I have been 1 year out.   And I am so tired that I want to go home and sleep the rest of the day even right now.

I am just a few months behind you and was wondering if you have had your labs drawn lately? That's how I feel when my B12 bottoms out... just an idea!

If your carbs are in control then sounds like maybe just the exercise level (this might actually HELP with the being tired too - sounds crazy but it works for me)

Hope that you get your BFP and back in control very soon!

I think you and I are on the same boat.  Since my first pregnancy resulting in a mc 1 1/2 years ago (I've had four in 1 1/2 years, and have a 14 year old son), I've gained about 22 pounds...most of it in the last 6-8 months.  I know part of mine is probably the hormones - I'm on estrogen and progesterone, which can cause weight gain - but I know it's also because I'm not eating right or exercising enough.  I started dragging my ass to the gym earlier this week and hope to keep that up and get back on track...now I just have to control my mouth and what goes in it.  I'm also three years and a month out from RNY (7/6/2006).

I don't know what to tell you since I haven't found the solution myself...but wanted to tell you that you're not alone...and to hang in there...
