contractions and pressure

It dosen't seem very fair that I have to contract this much when I am having a c-section.  I have my 37 wk check up today.  Maybe they will check me and tell me to go right to the hospital--I can dream.  It would be nice to have him out but on the other hand I have everything planned for the 20th.  I am having some serious nesting insticts--I think my hubby thinks I am going crazy.  What I really want to do is paint the boys' room but I am having a hard time just putting a load of laundry in.  You all have a great day and God bless, Penni

The longer the little one bakes the better. And trust me...."planning" around any date is dangerous! LOL. Even with a scheduled C-section. Hope your appt goes well!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Penni,  I sooo hear ya, I am having major pressure I just posted my 37 week appt. info from this morning! I am not dilated yet BUT all the pressure has made my cervix short and soft!
The plan is still the same and I would like to stick to it! We are scheduled for a c-section the day before you on the 19th~
Hope your appt. goes well today!
Beth

True longer in is better. My last son born at 35 weeks ended up in NICU for a week. He was the biggest premie they had though. 7 pounds 3 ounces but he had breathing issues and all. I know its hard to not want them out around that time but let him bake till he is all ready. :)
