21/22 week appt

so yesterday we went to see my ob, babies heartbeats were 143 and 146

we discussed so many things that i wrote a list of all questions to ask him, and he answered all before my exam

we decided i will have my tubes tied, after my scheduled c section , its the best decision for my family.  i will sign the consent form at 30 weeks 

last week at a diiferent appt when i had my anatomy scan i was told my babies are weighing 9oz and 11oz, so i waited until i saw him yesterday and asked his opinion and he said

well your babies are in the 35% for growth they have to stay within a 10%-90% range, ok i said

i only have gained 7lbs throughout this whole pregnancy, i still fit into all my pre pregnancy clothes, just a lil snug around the waist but im all belly.

however i was actually surprised i asked about circumcison(sp?) if he does it and if its done right after they are born and he said yes he does it but when they are 5 days old at his office, :(

he says no  they must pee first and have there BILIRUBIN count checked, and he orderes a topical numbing agent used for the procedure, awwwwwwww the thought is making me feel so bad, but i know its healthier and better for them in the long run?
'anyone else have to wait 5 days for this procedure to be done?

my ankles are already swollen, lol he said becuase its summer ok, so far pregnancy is great i am feeling the babies, i have a anterior placenta i was told, and one baby is head down and one is transverse

Sounds like your baby boys are doing just as they are supposed too!! the circumcisions aren't too bad we feel alot worse than they actually are on the babies!

SEVEN POUNDS?!  GEEZ!  I've gained 20!!  I hate you!  LOL! 

Kellen's circ wasn't done until he was 2 weeks old.  I cried at the thought of him going thru that.  My husband really wanted it done and after my friends who didn't have their sons done had horrible issues happen, I decided it was best too.
I also just did an AIDS training class and they say that in decreases a man's odds of getting it if he's circ'd!  I had no idea!!  I knew there were other benefits but that was nice to know.  Circ's are so controversial that I hate discussing them.  I think to EACH THEIR OWN!  

I still can't believe you've only gained 7 lbs.  UGH!  I'm so jealous!  My girls weighed in at 1 lb each.

Sounds like the twins are right on track.  Bryder was 13 oz. last week at his anatomy scan. 

Our hospital does the circumcision at the hospital before you are released to go home.  I'd hate to wait 5 days to 2 weeks!

My first son was done at 1 day cause they do it before you go home. Second son was 6 days old cause he was in NICU for a week so that sounds about normal to me. It will be hard no matter when they do it but I was there outside the door with my oldest and he was more angry they strapped him down to the table not so much what they did. He cried only when they had him tied down. As soon as they released his arms he stopped crying.
Happy boys are growing well. That always helps to make you feel better!!
