Appointment today....

So some of you know about the terrible OB I had at the begininng of the pregnancy and all and I have had a couple of different ones since I left the other quack. Today I went in and I know this is a high risk pregnancy and that I had factor V lieden but what I found out today is that I do have the Factor V Lieden but also i have low protein S which is yet another clotting disorder. CRAZY!! He asked why I was not on daily lovenox shots and I told him I had no clue. So he said that I need to be one it and that would be best. So now I am. He also does not like just s doppler of the baby he wants to see the baby everytime I go in or checking on growth and all. Thats AWESOME!! I am also now going in every 2 weeks to have them watch me closer. Baby Hayvann is growing about 4 days ahead of schedule so that is nice. Thats about it though. I am just happy some doctor is finally listening to me. Thanks everyone for all the support on here!!

That is GREAT you found a better doctor, not good that you have those issues going on but really good to hear someone is now going to be on top of things for you! That should be s sigh of relief!! Glad all is well and hope your new meds do well for you !!!

That is AWESOME that you found an OB that is really working with and FOR you!  How exciting to see your baby every time!!  I hope Hayvann continues to grow like a weed!

Doesn't it just make a world of difference when the doctor legitimizes the way you are feeling? I am so glad that you found an OB who supports you and truly has the best interest of your baby's health at the forfront! yea! 

Having a doctor you feel comfortable with is the most important thing.  Glad you found one.  Sounds like he'll take good care of you and Hayvann!

Having a good doctor and good healthcare makes all the difference!  I'm glad you're on the right track after the last quack....lol

I'm not high risk however, my OB does an u/s everytime I go in for a check up.  So, I have a nice book full of u/s pics from Skyler and now Bryder.  It's really amazing to see how they grow from week to week via u/s!
