Some TMI questions.
Thanks Beth. Yeah, I forgot I had an OB appt tomorrow and it's on my list of things to ask about. I don't quite get why the hooha hurts but a pp mentioned vericose veins. I read somewhere that you can get them their but never even thought about it.
And about the boobies...my husband FREAKED out when I told him! LOL! I figured it was normal, just wasn't sure if at 22-23 weeks though.
Thanks again!
Sandy

Hi Sandy!
OMG, I laughed so hard ar your opening line ... you are too funny! I am sorry you are so uncomfortable ... Boo! I know what you mean, though. You want them in so they bake long enough and are healthy, but then you start to get a little miserable ... its a catch 22! I think the colostrum is normal, and its great that you're already producing. As for your, um, southern swelling, what about using Tucks or a witchazel pad to sooth it? Sometimes that can numb it just enough to provide some relief.
Hope you are more comfortable soon!

The colostrum is normal. You have a lot of hormones raging, especially with 2 babies. I had a lot of "crotch pain" during one of my pregancies, it started around 3 mos. Right now, I would say yours is due to pressure. Your only 23 weeks, but there's two of them, so it's as if you were 7 or 8 mos already. What helped me was to lay on my side and put a pillow between my legs as far up as possible. I know it can be painful, I couldn't sleep at night. If I wanted to turn over, I had to get up and get back in bed, my pelvic bone would pop too, and made it worse. I think it's just pressure from the extra blood flow and the babies. You should still ask your dr. though. I hope this info helps.(Mommy to 3 and 2 angels)
Don't know what to say about the Vajayjay pain...but I will tell you that noticing colostrum was one of the first signs to me that I was pregnant...before I ever did a home test. Actually...It wasn't so much me that noticed it...but my husband... Poor guy. Anyway, I had leakage all the way through. I was hoping it would mean that I would be a milk facotry and be able to breastfeed easily...not so much. I had to stop at 5 weeks cause I totally dried up. But anyway Talk to your Doc, but I wouldn't worry.
I have been waiting for the magical answer. What did your doctor say? I will ask my doctor on Wednesday about the swelling. I had tenderness and mild swelling all last week, that was tolerable. On Friday, my husband talked me in to doing the deed, and boy oh boy. I swear each side of the labia swelled to a size of a small grapefruit. The swelling is now gone but I am still very tender. Well I have placed my self on pelvic rest for now. I hope to have more answers on Wednesday.
