update on us
So with the joys of lack of internet access I haven't been around much so first let me say CONGRATS to all those who are now baking... I just looked at the list and boy has it grown! And CONGRATS as well to all the mommies out there who have delivered their precious little ones!
I just wanted to let everyone know that we are still hanging in there and baking. We've had a few close calls... Labor and Delivery visits at 27 weeks for severe contractions and decreased movement (which stopped as soon as we got there and he zoomed all over creation) and at 31 weeks. The 31 week one was pretty scary. We went for one of those 3d/4d "fun" ultrasounds and they didn't see much fluid around the baby, so they couldn't do it. The tech was worried and stressed that even though it wasn't a medical ultrasound that I should call my OB. Which I did and landed in L&D.... so about 30 hours labor... everything was fine. We have ok fluid... it's on the low end of normal so they will watch it, but we are still ok.
NST are coming back great! He is measuring average even though I am measuring small... which is weird and they can't tell me why, but really I don't care- not as long as he's ok.
So no pretty pictures for us because now he is head down and very very low! Sometimes I think he's going to fall out... and I have a lot of the same pain down there that Beth, you were describing and I'm like a month behind you. I'll be amazed if we make it all of the way to the end of September, but we are well past the danger point. When this whole thing started I prayed to make it to 26 weeks because of reading about Deb and Maya... I knew we could make it if we got there... and now to have made it to 32 weeks I am ecstatic. Tired of being pregnant, but so happy that all of this is actually going to work. When we hit like 28 weeks I had an epiphany of "Holy Crap! This is actually going to happen!" and I started to get everything ready so we even have a place for him to sleep when he comes. I am still petrified that something is going to happen and as much as I complain about having to pee every time he moves secretly I am so happy he is moving I wouldn't care if I peed myself (which, unfortunately, I have).
So I just wanted to say Hi while I actually had access and let everyone know how we were doing. Good luck to everyone here, even though I'm not on here a lot I think about you guys a lot!

I am also happy for your progress....am sure you were scared but glad your man is moving all around....I loved the movement too...in fact I was told by Kelly on here to enjoy the kicking although it can be a pain at times...because you will miss it when he is out....now Nathan kicks me sitting on my lap and that is fun though too :)
Take care and keep us as posted as you can....take care!!!

Hi Victoria--
Wow, 32 weeks? I'm ecstatic for you! I know what you mean about making it to certain milestones. I'm at 26 weeks now and am looking towards my next goal of 28 weeks....I have a nephew who was born at 28 weeks (2.bs10oz) and is a perfectly fine active 8 year old now!
Sorry to hear about your painful trips to L & D. They sound like they were less than pleasant.
Don't be such a stranger...I miss your posts!
