So smart! I had to do the same thing. Then I got hungry! Between 18-23 weeks I gained way too much weight. Now my doctor has me trying to maintain to get back on track. I was successful for the last 5 weeks but am currently having a hard time.
It's hard! It is a million times better than worrying about morning sickness and too tight restriction, though. Good choice.

You have to do what feels right and even if you do gain more than you want to, it is possible to lose it again. I'm about 3.5 weeks out and now 6 lbs lower than my pre-pregnancy weight. Haven't had another fill yet, but thinking of doing it in a couple more weeks.
Just don't let yourself fall into that "I'm pregnant, if I want to eat a gallon of ice cream, I deserve to!" trap!

Wow, that is so scarey. I actually was having difficulty lately too. I am 9 weeks pregnant and was doing great at first but then started getting nauseas and stuck all the time. I finally decided that I needed to get a slight unfill to be able to eat healthy for my pregnancy. I went in today acutally and my doctor at first tried to tell me that she would have to take it all out. I was shocked i asked why and she said to make sure i can eat. I told her i dont think i could let her take it all out, that is just to scarey of a thought for me. I convinced her to only take out 2 cc's and the rest of the day has been wonderful. I still have a slight restriction but nothing that is too much for me to be able to eat healthy. Good luck with having a complete unfill and we are here if you need some encouragement.
I have lost 112lbs since my surgery in November of 2007. Ready for a baby now.
