Hi afternoon ladies,

I was wondering if anyone has been able to breast feed AFTER a breast lift? I had a TT and BL done after I reached my goal weight and 8 months later we are having our 3rd. Huge shock however very happy to be able to be a mother again.

I was able to breast feed before the work well. So much so I still havent dried up yet even after the lift.

Any and all info would be of grea help!

Thanks,
Shannon

Hi Shannon!
I had RNY four years ago, and had my lift and TT three years ago. Did you have implants with your lift? I did, and I had them done behind the muscle. I have heard this makes a difference?!

My baby is only five days old, and my milk has not come in yet, but I do have colostrum for her, and after she nurses about fifteen minutes on each side, I am able to pump about 3/4 ounceevery two hours. So, I'm thinking it is gonna work. I hope it works for you, too! Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply! No I just had a lift is all. Im really hoping all goes well. How is you TT now that you have given birth?

This was a shock to us as we did not plan on having another baby. Im warming to the idea and am reading as much as I can about PG after RNY. How was your 9 months? Any problems?

THANK YOU SO MUCH for replying. Im trying to get as much info as I can!
