When could other people feel your baby kick?
So I'm right at 20 weeks (Woo-hoo!!!!) and I felt the first kick about 10 days ago. Since then, some days I feel a lot, others not so much. I know a lot of it has to do with the extra skin around my lower abdomen. So, with that lovely flap-o-skin, how long did it take for someone to be able to feel your baby kick on the outside? I'm hoping within another 2-3 weeks or so - DH and DD (12yo) follow me around, kissing my belly and grabbing at me, hoping to feel something! (Of course, I'm not complaining, it's just a tiny bit irritating but mostly very sweet! I would just like to hear about someone else's experiences with kicking!)
within the next few weeks he should be able to feel it.
I was very heavy with my other two pregnancies and I think dh could feel them after 24/25 weeks then so I expect that any time now he'll be able to feel them.

I am at the same place as you... I have been able to feel the baby kicking for about 3 weeks now. But in the past couple of days... I have felt the kicking on the outside. My son (5 yr) has been DYING to feel the kicking but when his hand is on my belly... the baby doesnt kick. But I think he would be able to feel the kicking if the baby did it when his hand is on my belly.
So im not sure.. I have heard it is hard to feel the kicking on the outside until the 7th month.... but I think its before that... I dunno... LOL :-) Sorry not much help...

I'm 19 weeks - I felt him flutter since I was around 15-16 weeks... my hubby has been able to feel him the last 2 nights! I love it cause there is no smile on Earth like the one DH gives when the baby kicks his hand. I can't remember how old Paige was but she was a friggin mover and shaker in there too - we always thought she never slept cause she kicked almost all day... but when she was born we realized that she kicked like a Rockette IN HER SLEEP :). LOVE IT!!!

BTW- I have a HUGE flap-o-skin (her name is Bertha) and I just stick DHs hand under Bertha above the pubic hair line and pu**** in a bit when I lay down. Always best at night for us.

With my son, I think I was 19 weeks. Now with my daughter, I actually felt her at 9 weeks (I knew what to look for with #2) and was shocked to feel it so early. I asked the ultrasound tech when they were doing a u/s and she said that the placenta was at the back of my uterus and was pushing the baby up against my tummy- that's why I felt her kick and move so early. I actually didn't ask her about that, she actually said "wow, you must've felt this baby kick earlier than normal because the placenta is pushing her forwards into the front part of your belly!!". And I was like yeah, I actually did feel her kick a lot sooner than normal!!
