Anyone tried the 10 wk at home gender predictor test?

My friend told me about this.  Me and my husband kinda want to do it to see what it says but then again if we do and something (heaven forbid) goes wrong, it will be that much harder.  Anyone tried it?  Did you get the confirmation from your doc later with an ultrasound?

Hey!! You are close to me!! I did the intelligender and it was right but its a 50/50 shot. Its only for fun and all of them say the only way to know is from a doctor. We just did it for fun and did not go by the results at all. It was fun to do though but so many rules and all just so you can have fun! Congrats on the pregnancy!!

I've been thinking about getting one.  I'm just afraid that it will be wrong and I will be attached to the thought of having whatever sex it predicts.  Do they sell them at drugstores now?

It sounds fun, but I think I would buy it, and then wonder the whole time if it was right or not. I guess for me it would drive me crazy. I would probably do it anyways, so go for it! Good luck!

My friend who just had her baby at the begining of July tried one and it was right...but there again it's always a 50/50. She swore by the Chineese gender calendar too because it was right on her first pregnancy...but it was wrong with me and with this last baby of hers too...so if you have the money to buy it...i say go for it, but don't buy the baby bedding just yet :)

I did it and it was wrong - it was hard to accept the u/s results because we were so attached to the idea of having a boy!  I say don't waste your money.  You have the same odds of pulling the gender from thin air...50/50!

Love, Riah

ok so I did it too.  It is a weird color system to give you the answer... its not like a pregnancy test where there is either a line or there isnt....

so my "answer" was a mix of the two colors so I didnt really get any answer.... but ended up with a boy via ultrasound.

my vote.... dont waste your money.... as well.    I heard people say that... but after my OB said she couldn't "see" the stuff.... I was DYING to know so I gave in... oh well....  :-)
