Big huge congratulations to Amy K for her BFP this week!! Yeah. Have a happy and healthy nine months.

I made changes to the list, but sometimes I have a hard time interpreting what you want it to say, so let me know if you have any changes okay.

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

I'm trying sooo hard not to get my hopes up.  I am supposed to have AF august 9, so next sunday.  But let me just tell you how friggin SORE my boobs are right now.  they have neverrrrrrrr been like this before.  Time will tell but keep me in your thoughts!  I'm thinking about all the TTC'ers on this board!  let's all get preggo this month, that way we can all share our trimesters together LOL!

Yea Shari! I bet you are so happy that school is done.

As for me, today is CD21 so I am in my 2WW. We didn't chart or anything this month. This is my first full cycle since the miscarriage cycle. We went on vacation so we will see if that did the trick. We just wanted to take a little break from the year of charting/temping/fertility treatments.

If I don't get a BFP, I am thinking about going back for IUI at the start of the next cycle. I had to wait two cycles, so we will see if my RE says I am ready when my next period starts.

Hi all.  An update on me.  CD 11.  We are on a break this cycle, last cycle resulted in a large cycst on my ovary which ended up bleeding into my ovary so the doctor said no meds on this cycle.  I was really bummed out.  Using OPK this cycle and that is all.  BFN today.  Just not in a really good place this cycle.

The only stupid question is the one not asked.  Trust me...we talk about EVERYTHING on this board...constipation, bleeding, cervical fluids, vomiting, snotting noses for our kids...whatever.  If you have a question...ask.  I'm sure there's someone on here who's been there done that.
