Hi long lost friends! :-) I know I haven't posted in months, and I miss you all, just had to deal with life ya know? I'm on Facebook (hi gals I already have as friends!!) if you ever are looking for me.  Roman is now 3 and has officially hit the terrible 2's....just a little late. lol He also has his first major injury and is in a shoulder to fingers cast.  He broke it at school....long story, which makes me angry, so I won't go into it. Aurora is also doing well. She is now 18 months old and I will post her stats on Monday when she goes in for her appointment. I do know she is 28 pounds though because we had to go to the doctor three days ago for ear infections.  She is our "high maintenance" child, but she knows she is so damn cute that she can get away with murder...and she does! lol  Rory actually has an umbilical hernia that didn't close and we saw the surgeon yesterday who decided that it wasn't as emergent as the primary doc thought it was so that will be fixed in November. I will try to post pictures of the kids this weekend.  I am still applying for teaching jobs...since we have moved I have applied to over 60 positions, teaching, non-teaching, counseling, Target....you name it....and NOTHING.  I have a few things that are looking good, but we shall see. Billy isn't teaching right now--in sales....I don't think he really likes it, but it makes more money than teaching and since we are super poor right now on one income I guess that is good. I am also trying to get back to super health status because I have decided that I really want to be a surrogate for a family.  :-)  I like being pregnant and have healthy babies, but we can't afford another baby of our own, so this is the next best thing! :-) So that is what we are up to. I am SO excited to see a few of you pregnant again and can't wait to catch up on reading!!! :-)

Paula,
It is so good to see you again. I have been wondering how you were doing. I am glad that you have surfaced.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble getting a teaching job. Should try Iowa? It is a good place to live. Just a thought. If want me to check it out please let me know and i can get info to you.

I can't wait to see pictures of the kids. :)

Take care
Stephanie

I'm afraid this winter I will die. lol I lived in Michigan for a few years and I drove over 4 hours to and from work then...have no clue how I did that!! If we do go back up North though I will deff get back to ya on a job!!! :-) Thanks!

Hello! I started posting here about 6 months ago so I don't believe we ever crossed paths. I am considering being a surrogate as well someday...well after I get healthy and to goal weight. I think that is a great gift and truly admire your willingness to give life to another family.

Hi! Thanks for your post. :-) I have had two post op babies and both went well as far as pregnancy and whatnot.  Have you been a surrogate before? I really want another baby, but as I said before, we just plain cannot afford it but I'd love to do it for someone else. :-)

I have not been a surrogate before but I want to help someone. I think that it could be the ultimate gift of a life time. I would want someone to do it for me if I couldn't have my own. The only hard part would be giving the baby away after birth, don't know if I could do that. But I am entertaining the surrogate idea. Do you already have someone in mind to be a surrogate for?

OMG, did I know you were pregnant?!?! I can't remember if I saw that on FB or not! Congrats if I didn't already say it! I feel so out of the loop the last few months. It hasn't really been a good time for us, but I decided that I just need to "man up" and deal and not just spend hours online *****ing.  Not that I don't enjoy a good rant ;-), I just thought I should try to focus on what was in front of me.  Anyway, I hope you are given a package if you are let go, and prayers your way if you need to find a new job.  Billy got a job right away, but he had a connection through my brother. I, on the other hand, can't find squat. I think part of it is because of my education. I am wondering if places like Target, Walmart, Starbucks, and the movies won't hire me because they think I'm over qualified and will leave the moment I get another offer.  I'm tempted to reapply to a few places and not put any education over high school and see what happens. Let me know how it goes for you! :-)
