pre-natal vitamin question

so I'm TTC...my ob/gyn prescribed me some pre-natal vitamins....well, they are huge!  the biggest pills I have ever seen and they are coated in a wierd rubber material......can I take these?
has anyone had problems taking such a large pill?  should I ask for something different?

They should be fine -- you're not early out, so you should be alright.

I was okay as far as absorbing the prenatal vitamins but I hated them being so huge.  I have switched to a powder (liquid w/2 ounces of water only) vitamin which doesn't taste bad and is called Isotonix brand Prenatal vitamins.  www.marketamerica.com/nuhealthyliving.  (If you sign up as a preferred customer, you will get points to use on future purchases of vitamins - I also get my calcium plus and b-complex from there in liquid form too)

thanks for the info...yes, the size of them are freaking me out....i took one last night and felt like it was stuck in my pouch for the rest of the night....i doubt it was stuck and its all mental but  now Im afraid to take another one....

I am taking OTC ones and cutting them in half with a pill cutter. No problems taking them now.
