16 Week Appt.
I do have one question for you ladies. This is my first pregnancy that has "stuck". I am still getting "all day" sickness (BOO!) and was hoping it would end by now. Every night I wake up (multiple times) with charlie horses/cramps in my FEET! Not my legs but my feet. I never really had this problem until now. I would get them in my legs occasionally and feet too but nothing like this. Is this normal?? What can I do to prevent this from happening. I hurt so bad last night...
Thanks for listening!
Jess
Glad to hear that all is progressing good. The pains in your feet are just like the pains in your legs...they are muscle spasms. You should be sure to drink lots of water or decaff items to keep very hydrated, have your labs monitored that you do not have any vit shortages, some people say that putting a bar of soap at the end of your bed under your sheets helps (it lifts the sheet away from your legs and feet to help prevent the flexing of the food in certain directions), other swear by extra potassium. For me, the only thing that helped was TONS of fluids, stretching and having the baby. Please note with me the first two only helped a little, the ultimate solution like my Dr said was birth. Keep baking that little one.
I was told to eat more bananas...well, I HAVE been! I've been having one of those Starbucks Vivano Strawberry Banana smoothies every day and apparently, not helping! Well, it helps with the heat, getting in my protein and sweets craving, that's about it!
Good luck to you!!
Sandy
