First Cycle Post Miscarriage

I am in my first full cycle since my miscarriage. The doctor said my first period (after my miscarriage) to start trying. He wanted us to wait for any fertility treatments for at least two cycles to allow time for the uterus to thicken back up. I didn't have a D&C as he wanted me to pass it all on my own...I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! I had the worst time passing that stuff and the most pain I have ever experienced in my life.

Well, my question is that I have a normal cycle every month. My cycle is 29 days. I ovulate normally on the 17th or 18th day of my cycle. I obviously know all the signs since we have been actively trying, charting, fertility treatments, and etc for over a year. We didn't want to actively try this month (charting) to just give us a small break. We would just have sex when we should and see what happens.

Well, I had/have the increased mucus and ovulation pains. But, I have noticed that this ovulation time is much more painful. It is like I am having pains in my ovaries that normally last short time when I knew I was ovulating. Did you all have more noticeable pain in your ovaries your first ovulation time post miscarriage?

Thanks for any replies.

not sure if it is "normal" but I have been having them too - and very early in my cycle (like CD8!!) I also had a larger then normal amount of EWCM.

Here's to hoping that you get a good sticky BFP soon!!

Thanks Liz! Yes, I have the increased EWCM too. Kind of wierd.

Good luck to both of us for a BFP soon!

Good luck to you! I'm still trying after a D&C in March from a blighted ovum. When I miscarried the 1st time, it only took me 2 months to get pregnant again. I don't know what's going on this time. I'm coming to the end of my ttc week and will be in the tww soon. Good luck to all of us, lots of baby dust, sticky stuff and everything else we need!

I can't say I experienced pain, but I had my first period just about 6 weeks after my D&C, then 21 days later another one.  Needless to say I wasn't amused.

I'm just finishing that one - so I'm hoping I'll be back on track afterwards.

Hi Traci!  Good to see you back!  I did not have a full "miscarriage"  it was a chemical pregnancy but my last 3 months Ovulating hurt REALLY bad, like worse than period cramps.  This month it still hurt, but much much less.  It think it's your body in over drive!  Good luck to you, maybe we'll be pregnancy buddies this time around
