Ok, so a few days ago most times I wiped, my CM was ever so slightly pink.  This stopped for about a day.  Then this morning I woke up to TP full of pink/purple CM, darker then last time.  The First bout of pink lets just say I had had some fun by myself......but all very low, no where near the cervix.  This morning it's been completely without events of any kind.  Not even difficult BMs, they have been ok.  After this morning's pink/purple TP I went potty again before going to work and nothing.  Then I just had a BM (TMI sorry) and I wouldn't call it difficult but I did have to push and got pink on the paper again, clearly vaginal.  So, since I have been dealing with this stuff on and off all pregnancy so far, do I need to call the Dr?  I have an appointment a week from today.  The thing that bugs me is they didn't find the heartbeat at the 12 week appt, so it keeps playing at the back of my mind.  I kind of don't want to go in incase they want to do a U/S or doppler because my husband doesn;t want to miss that but it's hard for him to leave work.  *sigh* I just want to feel the baby and stop spotting.  I have talked to so many women who spotted all through thier pregnancy but my issue is I am in the second trimester and people say it can mean something worse to spot now then in the first trimester.  I don't know what to think/do.

UPDATE:
U/S went well, HR was 143.  She is breech but otherwise healthy.  After the U/S and while waiting for Dr felt the first ever for sure kick!  Dr said cervix is irritated and probably nothing but 5 day Z-pack to be safe.  They also noted on my chart fibroids (unclear if cervical or just close to the cervix in the uterus).  Has anyone else had this?

AmandaJo,
I would be so bothered that they didn't find the heartbeat and they didn't do anything further.  What an awful thing to do to a preggo mommy!  I'd definitely call the doctor to ease your worries.  It sounds pretty normal, honestly, but really, worry is SO not worth it.  Make them do something to ease your mind.  That's part of their job!  Good luck, I hope you get the answers you are looking for!

I'm evil and I would not have left that Dr's office until they did an ultrasound after not finding the heartbeat.

I think that you should call the Dr. to put your mind at ease.

I'm a worrier and a realist (also m/c survivor)...so I would want to know what is going on.  I can see why at 12 weeks they didn't make issue of not locating the heartbeat with the Doppler, but usually after that occurs they do a quick u/s to see the flicker at least.  That is what they did with me, literally it was ah there is the flicker and out of there...so it wasn't anything detailed enough to feel like I got a sneak peek that DH didn't.  I would call them them know and see if maybe you can stop by to even have them listen with the Doppler.  Good luck, and let us know....sending lots of positive pregnancy vibes.

I'm with Julie on this one. I am evil also. I actually demand and TELL them what I want. And it almost always works! LOL

Be persistent and be annoying. If nothing else, they will do an U/S to get you off thier back! LOL

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Ok you guys pushed me, I called.  They are checking with the on call Dr since mine is gone this week.  With an appointment in a week I bet they tell me to just hang on.  *sigh*

Don't take "just hang on" as their reply.  INSIST on coming in...someone there can do a quick ultrasound--today--just to put your mind at ease.

Don't tell them you "double clicked your own mouse" though!  LOL!  They may say it's normal after that and make you wait.  Just tell them you're 15 weeks and spotting and want it checked out.  I believe you can even go to the nearest county health department and have the heartbeat checked by doppler for free.

I'd be doing something!  It seems every time you spot it's after a "fling-thing".  I'd put myself on pelvic rest for awhile!  :-(

Good luck and keep us posted!

LOL!  That's just it, this time it was after nothing, no BM no anything.  They are getting me in at 3:30 for an ultrasound.  I wonder if the fact that it stopped for a while and then came back in the second trimester is what made them want it checked out.  Either way I am happy, AND I forgot, my husband is off today so he gets to come and see!
