Help!! ****UPDATE******
So I took a preggo test today in the afternoon, because I have not had my period since my D&C June 17th. Well I took the test and thought it was negative but I only looked at it for like a min. It wasn't totally done, still light dye moving to the right. Well a bit ago I went to throw it away and there is a really I mean really light line. I used the walmart equate test with the purple top. And it has red dye. Well the test strip is now even light, you know the line that goes horizontal. But there is a very faint line. Could I be preggers? I mean you really have to look at it to see the line it's that faint.
So confused!!!

Well I tested this morning! And it was Negative :-( It must have been evap lines :-( I just wish my period would get here! I used a Early First Response! I'm ok though....I would have been shocked if I got preggers this fast.

Did you have your HCG tested after your D&C??? I was getting positives a 4-6 weeks after my miscarriage - but mine was natural so I think it took longer for the hormone to get out of my system. I hope it is a BFP!!!! That would rock! I don't think the test would turn unless the hormone was there. I will be keeping my fingers crossed!

Jackie~ how long after you took the test did you go back and look at it. Most tests say that after like ten minutes they are not valid. Also some tests have an evap line that is kinda like a greyish shadow that would be negative. I say test again in the morning with fmu and see if it gets darker. That would be pretty neat. Good luck! Sorry! I was hoping for a different update!

i am so sorry to hear that it was negative. I know what you are going through. I was so careful not get pregnant for at least two years after my surgery. I got pregnant a year and half anyway. My first daughter with my new husband was born April 9th last year. We have been trying for another one for we would like a boy but would just be thankful for any baby. I got pregnant in September of 2008, January of 2009 and may of 2009 and lost all three within just a few weeks. I went as far as 11 weeks with the first one. It is so hard. My primary doctor and my bypass surgeon all say it is do to the hormonal and chemical imbalances that some of suffer after surgery. I just wish we could get a definite answer if I was ever going to get another baby or not. If I knew for sure that we weren't I would go get a uterine ablation and my tubes tide so I wouldn't have to worry about my bleeding issues.
We do have five kids all together. We have four girls and one boy. The girls are 12, 10, 6 and 15months and the boy is four yr old. I love them to death and if i get no more children that is ok.
Ill keep you in my prayers and hope that you are soon blessed with a healthy little one.
