Bummer

So I normally spend the majority of my day on OH - between doing this and that at work. I save night times for "family" time and preparing for Drew.

WELL...today at work, due to the fact that the FDA has been doing an audit at our facility and one of my co-workers (a microbiologist at that, you would think he would have some brains) was caught by our big big boss watching a baseball game yesterday (and then celebrating when they won) - they shut everyone's internet access off. Therefore, I'm unable to log into OH until I get home.

So I'm leaving this message to let everyone know that I won't be around as much (which totally sucks!) But if anyone wants my info for myspace (I'm there more than I'm on facebook) or my personal email - just let me know.

I have a great angel (Renae) - who let everyone know when Drew FINALLY makes his appearance. But since I won't be around much - I wanted to let everyone know and also wanted to thank everyone was for their consistant help throughout my pregnancy - I don't know how I would've made it through without the advice and info I gained from you ladies.

Hopefully by the time my maternity leave is over - they will have turned our internet back on.

I had an employer discontinue internet access for employees after a few people downloaded a virus from an on-line gambling site.  Come to find out, there were a bunch of employees participating in scheduled on-line poker tournaments during work hours. And here I was feeling guilty for playing a few games of solitaire every week LOL 

We'll miss you during the day but hopefully you (or Renae) will be posting a birth story VERY soon!

It's really all because this guy was watching baseball. The company has basically everything blocked anyways. The only sites I could get to were Yahoo (no games or employment,) OH, Walmart, and the local newspapers. Oh yeah I could check the weather too. I'm not even sure how he got to watch the game because at least my account was blocked for "Streaming Media."
Oh well - at least I'll be out soon. Otherwise I would probably go nuts - I have a TON of down time. My job is literally a half day job but they need someone there all day, so I get paid for 4 hours of work and 4 hours of nothing.

Been there, done that, and not fun. All things in moderation and some people let the internet take precendence over work sadly. We recently got the okay to access personal sites like FB, Myspace, etc but I always tell people that just because they allow personal sites does not mean it is private and big brother is over your shoulder. I will be waiting for the announcement of baby Drew!~
