FRIDAY TTC POST (who is makin a baby?)
I would live to be added to the TTC list!! This is the second month since I got off bc. We are TTC #1. I have not done an O predictor but based on last month (i felt it!!! ouch) I should be today or tomorrow so DH and I have been BD since Thursday just to be sure. After tomorrow's BD it's time to wait. :) Thank you all for all of the advice and encouragement. Oh and I also have PCOS but have been having cycles since WLS. :) Yay!! Praying for a BFP!!

Shari, first a BIG Thank You for the acronym lists.... Frankly I've felt a little stupid trying to join this board, read the posts and understand what the heck everyone is referring to; makes me feel old, oh wait, I AM OLD
For me, I am TTC (again, thank you) and would love to be added to your list.
Hubby and I are 40 and turning 40 (next Saturday for me) and had to wait the last two years for safety reason after WLS to try again. We tried for 4 years before WLS to get preggo, but nothing happened. All the tests were run and even fertility options were attempted.
So, after WLS, I'm regular and have no symptoms of PCOS; normal cycles and appear to be ovulating like clockwork My most fertile days this month begin today through Tuesday; so it will be on like Donkey Kong!
Yes, we're 40 and have some additional risks - but we just feel like we have to try. We'll give it 6 months naturally and if nothing happens will accept that it's not supposed to. We've chosen not to take the route of fertility drugs, invetro, or other medical options...
We have raised my daughter from a previous marriage and she has entered college. So, we'll be empty nesters soon - if no baby. And that's not a bad thing either. Feels kind of weird to be so young and be an empty nester, but what the heck!
Until more news, I'll continue to lurk on the boards and wish baby dust for everyone who is trying. And, if it's not in the cards for us - then we'll be happy auntie/uncles to other relatives and fantastic GodParents to our best friend's kids.
Thank you all for the well wishes and good luck in your journey's as well,
Lisa B - TX

I thought I was out for this month for sure. It's my 4th round of Clomid, Dr bumped me up to 100mg's and I was sure I would not O this cycle because I am SO late into it. But yesterday nipps started feeling sensitive and today even more sensitive. Cervix is high and soft. So did an OPK and got a really really dark test line. (I'm on CD34) So I guess we will see what this cycle brings us!?!?!? I go to see a R.E. on the 7th! Good luck n baby dust to everyone!
