FRIDAY TTC POST (who is makin a baby?)

First a huge thank you to all of my little support angels that come here each week to encourage those ttc. I think it is great that you remember your journeys and honor those that need additional support!!

Hi girls! One more week of this Masters class and then I will have a year off school. I will have more time to do personals to everyone! There is so much going on with you gals and I can't wait to not 'just read' about your journeys, but actually communicate with you about it, ya know. I want to be more supportive and can't wait to have more time.

First off, Congratulations to Courtney for her bfp!!! Have a happy and healthy nine months.

Also, special thoughts go out to Anita, thinking of you and praying.

We also have a couple at the end of the 2ww...so I am predicting 1 bfp before next friday!!!

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

Shari - Happy to be back on the list! I am on CD#2 hoping that August is our month! I also have PCOS and hope that the cysts continue to stay at bay.

Congratulations to those with BFPs!!!

I'm out for this cycle. I started today. I'm actually kind of relieved becaue before this cycle, I had  a really, really strange and LONG cycle before that. I was afraid that I wasn't ovulating. I now believe that I am. I'm going to start temping in addition to observing CM this cycle and see how that goes.

Not sure what is going on this month.  Took the clomid way back and currently on CD 31, never got a rise in Temp until this week, so not really sure, took a HPT and turned out to be Neg.  Must be still all messed up with the mc in May, I did get AF 6 weeks later and started TTC right away, but not too hopeful this month.  Seems too late to Ovulate now but you never know.  So I guess I am just waiting for AF and will try again next month.  March would have been a busy month for us anyway Birthday wise so maybe an April or May baby instead...LOL

We're back at it this month, though we're having some things stress us out that may interefere.  DH got laid off work, so I'm stressing about if we should continue TTC.  He's having some issues with ICI, so I'm not sure how much luck we'll have.  Praying a lot, and trying not to focus too much on TTC but still hoping that God blesses us with a baby soon.

This is the first month since I got my IUD out in May that we are ttc baby #3.   I had a + OPK test on sunday the 19th, so I'm in the 2WW right now!   It took 2 yrs for my 1st and then 14 months and 2 months of Clomid with #2  (pre op), so getting pg in 6 months or less would THRILL me to death!   I know that losing 130 pounds will really help my chances in trying this time!

My period is due around Aug 3rd, so I plan on testing in another 9 days or so!  I bought some HPT's at the dollar store, so I have like 4-5 of them, so no biggie if I go a little crazy and test.  I know the earliest you can test is like 10 dpo?  I got a + HPT with my 2nd baby at 11 DPO, so we'll see!  I'm already 5 DPO today!

 Hi everyone,
So I am 6DPO. I am in the throws of the TWW. My temps look pretty normal so far this month so I am already not letting myself get to hopeful.
This is my 5th month charting and temping so I am getting to know what a normal cycle looks like for me. I just wanna see that BFP so bad it hurts. I am gonna try and hold out to test until my FF date and thats the 2nd of Aug.
